...ideas? My hubby's favorite dish is fried chicken and I make it good so I have that part down. I am thinking of either making or buying potatoe salad or macaroni salad (which I have never made before), maybe corn on the cob or green beans too. The baby will be home with us so I want it to be a fun but still somewhat romantic family dinner/event. he loves Dwight Yoakam (spelling?) so I am thinking of having that on the stereo playing in the background when he gets home too. Other than that I am drawing a blank for ideas. Possibly a picnic feel even though it will have to be inside? Also, for his last b-day I painted him a card and put the baby's hand prints on it. I want to do one better this time.
Any ideas on dishes/desserts/recipes, decorating/crafts, and present/card would be awesome!
Good idea. I have done the romantic gift certificate thing before, and also written him poems in cards. maybe I'll try the kiss and possibly a naughty photo to go with it. I didn't even think of strawberries and chocolate! I wish he'd do that for MY birthday! :P
Johnny: that is also a great idea. I always give him that for dessert, but it might throw him off to have it for dinner instead.
